15 Minute Korean Turkey Bowl Recipe Easy Spicy Korean Meal Prep
Ingredients
- Ground turkey2 lb
- Ginger · ground2 tsp
- Arrowroot2 tbsp
- Gochujang3 tbsp
- Raspberry jam4 tbsp
- Orange
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Garlic · minced3
- Sesame oil2 tbsp
- Rice wine vinegar2 tbsp
- Scallion
- Lime
Instructions
- Whisk all the sauce ingredients except the arrowroot in a bowl. Taste, adjust if needed, then whisk in the arrowroot and set the sauce aside.
- Heat a nonstick skillet on high. Once hot, lightly spray it with oil, then add the turkey.
- Brown the turkey in batches so the pan does not fill up and steam the meat.
- Keep chopping the turkey as it cooks. When it is nearly done (a few pink bits still visible), sprinkle in the ground ginger and the 1 tbsp arrowroot.
- Stir and keep breaking up the turkey so it does not clump.
- Lower the heat to low and make a well in the centre of the pan. Let the pan cool so it is not piping hot.
- Slowly pour the sauce into the well and stir it straight away. The sauce should not boil; if it does, take the pan off the heat to cool.
- Remove the pan from the heat and keep stirring and folding the turkey through the sauce.
- Serve hot, garnished as you like.
