15-minute Triple Smash w/ Bacon & Cheese
Ingredients
- Ground beef4
- American cheese2 slices
- Burger bun1
- Bacon1 slice
- Salta sprinkle
- Pickled onion
- Lettuce
- Mayonnaise2 parts
- Horseradish1 part
- Dijon mustard1 part
- Hot sauce1 part
- Honey1 part
- Black pepperto taste
Instructions
- Cook the bacon slowly in a cold pan over low heat until crisp on one side, flip and crisp the other side, then set aside.
- Meanwhile, prepare the burger toppings.
- Shape the ground beef into three balls of about 56 g each. Season the outside generously with salt, rolling them so the salt coats all sides.
- Place the balls on the hot griddle and smash them until thin, a little less than 1/2 inch thick. Sear for about 30 to 60 seconds to develop a crust.
- Scrape each patty off the griddle with the spatula, flip it over, and repeat with the other two. Immediately place a slice of American cheese on two of the patties, then stack them into a tower. Turn off the heat.
- Mix all the spicy mayo ingredients well in a small container.
- Toast the bun, spread sauce on the bottom half, then add shredded lettuce, crisp bacon, the patties, and pickled onion. Spread more sauce on the top bun.
