- Egg1
- Cornstarch½ tazas

- Sweetened condensed milk2 cdas.
- Miel1 cda.
- Rice wine vinegar1 cdta.
Preparación
- In a pan over medium heat, toast the walnut halves in the 2 tablespoons of oil for about 2 minutes until fragrant. Remove them.
- In the same pan over low heat, melt the butter with the water and 4 tablespoons brown sugar, stirring until dissolved. Add the walnuts and cook until thickened and evenly coated.
- Spread the candied walnuts on parchment paper and let them cool completely; they will crisp as they cool.
- In a bowl, mix the Kewpie mayonnaise, sweetened condensed milk, honey, rice vinegar and a pinch of salt until smooth. Set aside at room temperature.
- Season the shrimp with a pinch of salt and white pepper, add the egg and mix, then toss with the cornstarch until lightly and evenly coated. The batter should be thin.
- Heat the frying oil in a pot over high heat to 325°F (165°C). Carefully fry the shrimp for about 2 minutes until golden and crisp, until they reach 145°F (63°C) inside.
- Air-fry option: spray the coated shrimp lightly with oil and arrange in one layer. Air fry at 400°F (200°C) for 6 to 8 minutes, flipping halfway, until opaque and 145°F (63°C) inside.
- Add the hot shrimp to the sauce and toss gently to coat.
- Arrange the orange slices on a plate, place the shrimp on top, and finish with the candied walnuts. Serve immediately.
