20 Minute Garlic Beef & Broccoli stir fry.
Ingredients
- Beef450 g
- Garlic2 cloves
- Broccoli1 head
- Ginger1 inch knob
- Salta sprinkle
- Vegetable oil
- Chili flake · flakes
- Soy sauce
- Rice
- Pickled onion
- Sesame seed
Instructions
- Freeze the steak for 1-2 hours, and cook the rice now if you have none left over.
- Once the steak is firm, slice it as thin as possible and put it in a bowl.
- Grate the garlic and ginger. Add them to the bowl with the chili flakes, a splash of soy sauce and half the oil, then mix with your hands.
- Chop the broccoli into pieces for stir-frying.
- Heat the remaining oil in a wok over high heat until it starts to smoke. Stir-fry the seasoned beef for 1-2 minutes until cooked through, then set aside.
- Add a little soy sauce and water to the wok and scrape up the fond from the bottom. Add the broccoli and cook until the water evaporates, then set aside. It should still be slightly crunchy.
- To serve, put rice on the plate and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Top with the broccoli, then the beef, some pickled onions and a final sprinkle of chili flakes.
