4-Ingredient Cheesy BBQ Doritos
Ingredients
- Tortilla chips1 bag
- Flour¼ cups
- Egg · beaten2
- Mozzarella cheese2
- Salsa
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C and line a large baking tray with baking paper. (Alternatively, air-fry in batches until golden and crispy.)
- Open a small section of the Doritos bag to let out the air. Crush the chips in the bag with a rolling pin until fine crumbs form. Transfer to a bowl.
- Put the flour and the beaten eggs into two separate bowls.
- Cut both blocks of cheese into 16 triangles. Working with 2–3 triangles at a time, dust in flour, dip in egg, then coat generously in the crushed chips. Place on the tray, spaced apart. Repeat until all are coated.
- Bake for 5–10 minutes, until the coating is golden and crispy and the cheese has melted. (Alternatively, fry in batches in medium-hot oil for 4–5 minutes.)
- Serve hot and fresh, with red salsa if you like.
