5 MIN Homemade Senbei Rice Crackers (Japanese Snack Recipe) | OCHIKERON | Create Eat Happy :)
Ingredients
- Rice60 g
- Soy sauce1 tsp
- Sesame seed1 tsp
Instructions
- Mix the rice thoroughly with the soy sauce and the black sesame seeds, if using.
- Divide the rice into 6 portions and shape each into a ball, using plastic wrap.
- Place each rice ball between sheets of parchment paper and flatten with your hands.
- Put the flattened rice on parchment paper on a microwave-safe plate, uncovered. Microwave on medium (600 W) for 2.5 minutes. Flip, then microwave on medium (600 W) for another 2 to 2.5 minutes. If they are not cooked enough, microwave 30 more seconds. Watch closely so they do not burn; they are done when the surface is brown.
- Let cool so the crackers become crisp.
