AMAZING Canned Tuna & Pasta Stew | EASY 30 Minute One-Pan Recipe

By Spain on a Fork · 30 min

Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Finely chop the onion, roughly chop the garlic, and finely chop the green bell pepper. Drain the tuna through a fine sieve over a bowl, then gently flake the tuna to remove excess oil.
  2. Heat a stock pot over medium heat and add 45 ml (3 tbsp) of the oil from the tuna cans.
  3. After a couple of minutes, add the chopped vegetables and stir constantly. After 3 to 4 minutes, when they are lightly sautéed, add the paprika and dried thyme, stir quickly, then add the tomato sauce and season with salt and black pepper. Stir once, then simmer without stirring.
  4. When the tomato sauce has slightly thickened, about 3 to 4 minutes, add the broth and raise the heat to high, stirring gently. When it boils, add the pasta and stir every 1 to 2 minutes.
  5. When the pasta is just al dente (check the package instructions), add the drained tuna, turn off the heat, and stir until well mixed.
  6. Divide into bowls, garnish with fresh parsley, and serve immediately.
