Baked Crab Rangoon Recipe (Appetizer) : Thai Food : Asian at Home
Ingredients
- Wanton wrappers24–28
- Cream cheese4 oz
- Crab¼ cups
- Scallion · chopped¼ cups
- Salt½ tsp
- Black pepper¼ tsp
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil and grease it evenly with cooking spray.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese with the green onion, crab meat, salt and black pepper.
- Put 1/2 teaspoon of filling in the center of a wonton wrapper. Wet the edges with water, fold in half into a rectangle, press the middle to seal (leaving the edges open), then push the other sides toward the center to form a four-pointed star. A simple triangle fold also works.
- Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling, arranging them on the lined sheet. This makes at least 24 rangoons.
- Bake for 20 to 25 minutes, until golden brown and crispy.
- Take them out of the oven.
