Ingredientes
- Orange4
- Sugar⅓ tazas
- Heavy cream1 taza
- Salt1 cdta.
- Dark chocolate · grated
- Fresh berries
Preparación
- Grate the oranges to get 2 tablespoons of zest, then set the oranges aside. Rub the zest into the sugar with your fingers for about 1 minute, until cohesive and aromatic.
- Cut the oranges in half crosswise, remove the flesh and keep the rinds for serving.
- Squeeze the flesh through a fine strainer, discarding seeds, and measure out ⅓ cup of juice. Set aside any remaining juice for another use.
- In a medium pot, combine the cream, salt and orange sugar, and bring to a simmer over medium heat. Remove from the heat and immediately stir in the ⅓ cup of juice.
- Strain the mixture into a pourable glass, discarding solids, and immediately pour it into the reserved orange rinds.
- Cover the filled rinds and refrigerate until set, at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours.
- Top with grated dark chocolate and fresh fruit if desired. Serve right away, or refrigerate covered for up to 24 more hours.
