Blueberry Sauce
Ingredients
- Blueberry3 cups
- Sugar½ cups
- Cornstarch1 ½ tbsp
- Vanilla½ tsp
Instructions
- Put 1½ cups of the blueberries in a small saucepan, cover with water, and add the sugar and vanilla. Heat over medium-high until it reaches a low boil and the berries just begin to break apart.
- Add the dissolved cornstarch and bring to a rolling boil. Reduce to low and simmer for 2–3 minutes, until the sauce reaches the consistency you want. If it gets too thick, add water one tablespoon at a time.
- Remove from the heat and stir in the remaining blueberries gently. Serve warm or cold.
