Bread pizza recipe | How to make bread pizza on tawa & oven
Ingredients
- Bread4 slices
- Oil1 tsp
- Pizza sauce2 tbsp
- Cheese · grated1 to ¾ cup
- Italian seasoning½ tsp
- Chili flake · flakes¼–½ tsp
- Onion1
- Bell pepper½ cups
- Tomato1
- Olive10
- Olive oilas needed
Instructions
- Cube the onion and separate the layers. Deseed and cube the tomato and bell pepper. Grate the cheese.
- Grease a pan or griddle with 1 teaspoon of oil. Toast one side of the bread lightly, then turn off the heat.
- Move the bread to a board or tray with the crisp side up (optional, keeps it firm).
- Spread pizza sauce thinly over the bread.
- Layer the onion, bell pepper and tomato, then the grated cheese, then the herbs and chili flakes. Add olives if using.
- Put the bread back on the griddle, cover the pan and toast on low to medium heat, checking often so it does not burn, until the cheese melts.
- For the oven: preheat to 430°F (220°C). Arrange the bread on a baking tray, spread the sauce, and add the toppings in the same order (onion, bell pepper, tomato, cheese, herbs and chili flakes, olives).
- Bake on the middle rack for 8 minutes at 430°F (220°C), adjusting the time as needed, until the cheese melts and turns golden and the vegetables are partly grilled.
- For the air fryer: spread sauce on the bread, add toppings and cheese, and air fry at 350°F (180°C) for 5 to 6 minutes, until golden and crisp. Without preheating, allow 7 to 8 minutes.
