Brownies, But Make Them Even More Decadent
Ingredientes
- Butter12 colheres de sopa
- Cocoa powder½ xícara
- Sugar3 ¾ xícaras
- Egg2
- Vanilla2 colheres de chá
- Flour¾ xícara
- Salt¾ colher de chá
- Chocolate chip¼ xícara
- Chocolate3 oz
- Milk⅓ xícara
- Brownie
Modo de preparo
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a 9×9-inch (23×23 cm) baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl, then immediately whisk in the cocoa powder until smooth.
- Whisk in the sugar, eggs and vanilla until the batter is smooth.
- Stir in the flour and salt until combined, then fold in the mini chocolate chips if using.
- Transfer the batter to the centre rack of the oven and bake for 23 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the centre comes out clean or with a few moist, fudgy crumbs.
- While the brownies cool, make the frosting: in a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the chopped chocolate, butter and milk, stirring until smooth. The mixture may look separated at first; it will come together in the next step.
- Off the heat, whisk in the salt and vanilla. Let cool for 3–5 minutes, then whisk in the powdered sugar until smooth and glossy.
- Let the frosting cool slightly, whisking occasionally, until it loses its shine and is thick enough to spread without dripping off the spoon.
- Spread the frosting over the brownies (they can still be a little warm), let the fudge set completely, then slice.
