Bulgogi flavored Salmon
Ingredients
- Salmon1 lb
- Soy sauce3 tbsp
- White wine1 tbsp
- Sesame oil1 tsp
- Lemon1 tbsp
- Sugar1 tbsp
- Honey1 tbsp
- Garlic · roughly minced2 tsp
- Ginger · grated1 tsp
- Black pepperto taste
Instructions
- Remove any bones from the salmon and cut the fillet into pieces about 3/4 to 1 inch thick.
- In a medium bowl, stir the marinade ingredients until the sugar and honey dissolve. Coat the salmon pieces in it and marinate for 20 to 30 minutes, or longer if you have time.
- To broil: set the oven rack 6 inches below the element and preheat the broiler. Place the salmon on a pan lined with parchment or foil and broil about 3 to 4 minutes, until cooked and slightly charred. Watch closely so it does not overcook.
- Or to bake: preheat the oven to 450°F. Place the salmon on a pan lined with parchment or foil and bake for 4 to 5 minutes.
- Or to pan-fry: heat a lightly oiled non-stick skillet, then cook the salmon for a minute or two per side.
- Cooking time depends on the thickness of the salmon.
