Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix the beef mince with the pink salt, garlic powder, black pepper, onion powder and Texas burger seasoning until well combined.
  2. Oil your hands, take 40 g of the mixture and shape it into meatballs of equal size.
  3. Grease the air fryer basket with oil and arrange the meatballs in it.
  4. Air fry at 180°C for 10 minutes.
  5. In a small jug, combine the lukewarm water, sugar and instant yeast, whisk well, cover and leave to proof for 5 minutes.
  6. In a bowl, mix the sifted flour with the pink salt, then add the 2 tbsp cooking oil and mix well.
  7. Gradually add the yeast mixture and knead until a dough forms.
  8. Oil the dough, cover it and leave it to proof in a warm place for 1 hour.
  9. Dust with a little dry flour and knead until smooth.
  10. Take 65 g of dough, shape it into a ball and roll it out with a rolling pin.
  11. In the centre, place pizza cheese, mustard paste, chopped pickled jalapenos and a cooked meatball. Brush the edges with water, gather the dough around the filling into a ball and press to seal.
  12. In a small bowl, whisk the egg yolk with the milk.
  13. Arrange the cheese bombs in the air fryer basket, brush them with the egg and milk mixture and sprinkle with sesame seeds. This makes 11-12.
  14. Air fry at 180°C for 15-18 minutes.
