Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (fan-assisted). Grease a rectangular baking tray, then line it with baking paper.
  2. In a large bowl, beat the eggs and sugar with an electric mixer for 5 minutes until pale and fluffy.
  3. Sift in the flour, cocoa powder and milk powder, add a tablespoon of boiling water, and fold gently with a spatula until just combined.
  4. Spread the batter evenly in the prepared tray.
  5. Bake for 6 to 8 minutes, until the sponge is cooked through (a toothpick inserted should come out clean).
  6. As soon as it comes out, roll the sponge into a log using the baking paper, following the method's flipping steps, and let it cool in that shape.
  7. Whisk the cottage cheese and caramel dessert together for 2 to 3 minutes until smooth.
  8. Unroll the cooled sponge, spread the filling evenly, and roll it back up into a log, removing the baking paper as you go.
  9. Chill the roll in the fridge for 1 hour until set, then trim the ends.
  10. Dust with extra cocoa, slice, and serve with berries.
