Chocolate-Covered Strawberries That Never Fail #shorts
Ingredients
- Strawberry2 lb
- Chocolate12 oz
- Chocolate chip
- Finely chopped nuts
- Coconut flake · flakes
- Sugar
- Oreo
Instructions
- Rinse the strawberries, pat them completely dry with a paper towel, and lay them in a single layer on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Fill a medium saucepan with 1 inch of water and bring it to a simmer over medium-low heat.
- Put two-thirds of the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over the pan. Stir constantly for about 2 minutes, until mostly melted and reaching 110°F (43°C). Do not let it go above 120°F (49°C).
- Remove the bowl from the heat, set it on a towel, and add the remaining third of chocolate. Stir constantly until it cools to 90°F (32°C). If it cools too much, return the bowl to the double boiler to warm it back to 90°F (32°C).
- Hold each strawberry by its leaves, dip and roll it in the chocolate until evenly coated, lift it out and let the excess drip off, then set it on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- While the chocolate is still wet, sprinkle on nuts, crumbs or sprinkles so they stick. Once the semi-sweet chocolate has set, drizzle and decorate with melted white chocolate.
