Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Line an 8-inch (20 cm) square baking pan with parchment paper, letting some hang over the sides.
  2. Blend the oats in a blender or food processor until they form a fine flour. (Ready-made oat flour also works.)
  3. In a large bowl, mix the oat flour, ground almonds, peanut butter, maple syrup and a pinch of salt until a thick, even dough forms.
  4. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the prepared pan, then chill in the fridge.
  5. Finely chop the dark chocolate and put it in a heatproof bowl with the coconut oil. Microwave in 15-20 second bursts, stirring between each, until fully melted and smooth.
  6. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter base and spread it evenly.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, until set. Slice into bars.
