- Cardamom · powder1.13 tsp
- Cashew2 tbsp
- Milk3 cups
- Condensed milk½ cans
- Mawa1 ½ cups

- Heat 1 tablespoon ghee in a pan and fry the cashews until golden; remove to a plate.

- Lower the heat and cook until the milk has evaporated. Stir in the sugar and cook until all moisture is gone.
- Add the ghee and keep stirring until the mixture is dry and pulls away from the pan.
- Press the mixture with a spatula; if moisture remains, keep cooking to dry it.
- Keep stirring until the mixture is dense, thick and sticky, very aromatic, and leaves the pan. Cook a little less for a softer set.
- Stir in the cardamom, spread the mixture in the greased pan and press it down.
- Sprinkle the nuts on top and leave at room temperature for 3 to 4 hours to set.
- Slice the burfi and leave at room temperature for 8 to 10 hours to set fully. Cool and store in an airtight jar.
