Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, combine the milk, egg, yeast and condensed milk. Add the flour and salt and mix until combined. Add the softened butter and mix until fully absorbed.
  2. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, until smooth and elastic.
  3. Put the dough in an oiled bowl, cover, and leave for 1 hour or until doubled in size.
  4. Turn onto a floured surface and divide into 12 equal pieces. Shape each into a smooth ball and rest for 10 minutes.
  5. Roll each piece into a rectangle with the smooth side facing down. Fold it into a long triangle shape, then roll it up tightly.
  6. Grease a 9x12 inch baking dish or pan with butter or oil and arrange the rolls in it. Cover and leave for 30 to 40 minutes. Preheat the oven to 170°C / 340°F at least 15 minutes beforehand.
  7. Beat 1 egg with 1 tablespoon of milk and brush the mixture over the tops of the rolls.
  8. Bake for 25 minutes, or until lightly golden.
  9. Mix the softened butter with the sweetened condensed milk to make the glaze.
  10. Brush the glaze over the hot rolls.
