Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Rinse the Chinese broccoli well.
  2. Bring a large volume of water to a rolling boil on high heat, then add the olive oil and salt.
  3. Trim the stems to a uniform size, and split any thick stems about 1-2 inches down the middle.
  4. Add the Chinese broccoli to the boiling water and cover; top up with boiling water if it is not submerged. Flip it halfway through.
  5. Cook 1 to 2 minutes after the water returns to a boil, until the stems are crisp-tender. If you want them softer, cook 1-3 minutes more.
  6. Drain onto a plate, cut 1-2 times along the stems and leaves, then drizzle with oyster sauce and a little more olive oil.
