- Egg2
- Shallot · finely chopped1
- Garlic2 dentes
- Parsley · chopped2 colheres de sopa
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Greek yoghurt½ xícara
- Paprika · smoked1 colher de chá
- Lemon1 colher de chá
- Extra virgin olive oil1 colher de sopa
Modo de preparo
- Drain the tuna cans into a sieve over a bowl, flake the tuna gently and transfer it to a large bowl.
- Add the breadcrumbs, eggs, shallot, grated garlic, parsley, salt and pepper. Mix well, then press down until the mixture is paste-like.
- Shape into balls about the size of a golf ball, squeezing each one first. If the mixture is too wet, add more breadcrumbs.
- Heat 3 tablespoons of the reserved tuna oil (or regular olive oil if using tuna in water) in a frying pan over medium heat. After a couple of minutes, add the meatballs in one layer and fry 7-8 minutes until golden all over. Transfer to a dish.
- Mix the yogurt, grated garlic, smoked paprika, lemon juice and olive oil. Season with salt and plenty of pepper, and whisk until creamy. Spoon over the meatballs and top with parsley.
