Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C / 400°F (fan). Line a baking tray with parchment or a silicone mat.
  2. Slice the pastry in half lengthways to make two long strips.
  3. Remove the skins from the sausages and unroll the pastry.
  4. Lay half the sausages along the middle of one strip, stretching them slightly to reach the ends. Repeat with the other strip.
  5. Brush the top strip of each pastry piece with egg wash and roll up the sausage from the bottom so the egg seals the pastry.
  6. Turn the rolls over and press the seams shut with a fork.
  7. Brush the tops with egg wash and cut each length into 10–12 mini sausage rolls.
  8. Place on the tray and prick the top of each roll with the tip of a sharp knife.
  9. Bake for 18–20 minutes until golden brown. Cool slightly and serve warm or cold.
