Easy To Make Home Fries | Chef Jean-Pierre
Ingredients
- Balsamic vinegar2 tbsp
- Potato2–3
- Olive oil2
- Onion · diced1
- Bell pepper
- Garlic · chopped2 tbsp
- Parsley · chopped2 tbsp
Instructions
- Peel the potatoes and cut them the way the chef shows in the video. Rinse them, put them in a pot and cover with room-temperature water about 1 inch above the potatoes. Salt the water, add about 2 tablespoons of white balsamic vinegar, and boil until the potatoes are cooked through.
- Drain the potatoes. If not serving right away, spread them on a cookie sheet to cool so they don't overcook and turn mushy.
- Heat the olive oil in a sauté pan. Add the diced onion and cook a few minutes until translucent.
- Add the potatoes, salt and pepper, and the bell peppers, and cook until golden brown to your liking.
- Add the chopped garlic and parsley a few minutes before serving.
