Falooda-Inspired Fridge Tart
Ingredients
- Cream cheese1
- Rose syrup½ cups
- Crème fraîche1
- Biscuit1 packet
- Almond · toasted⅓ cups
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese and rose syrup with an electric beater until smooth. Set aside.
- In a second bowl, beat the cold cream with an electric beater until soft peaks form. Do not over-beat.
- Stir one third of the whipped cream into the cream cheese mixture with a spoon to lighten it. Once nearly combined, add the rest of the cream and fold in gently.
- Spread about a cup of the cream filling evenly over the base of a dessert dish. Cover with a single layer of Marie biscuits, breaking them up to fill gaps. Repeat until all the cream and biscuits are used, finishing with a cream layer on top.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours so the biscuit layers soften.
- Garnish with the toasted flaked almonds and serve.
