Fast and easy Lazy Buns in the morning. Warm and buttery! Overnight proofing in the fridge
Ingredients
- Bread flour3
- Yeast1
- Milk powder¼ cups
- Salt1 tsp
- Egg1
- Condensed milk⅓ cups
- Butter⅓ cups
Instructions
- In a mixer bowl, combine the flour, yeast, milk powder, salt, water, egg, condensed milk and butter.
- Fit the dough hook and knead on speed 2 for 3 minutes, until a ball forms and the sides of the bowl are clean.
- Smooth the dough, place it in a buttered or oiled bowl and cover until doubled in size.
- Punch the air out, divide into 15 pieces of about 60 g each, and roll each into a ball.
- Place the balls in an 8x10 inch or 9x9 inch pan lined with baking paper. Cover with cling film (not a cloth) and refrigerate overnight or at least 8 hours.
- In the morning, remove the cling film and bake at 170°C (340°F) for at least 30 minutes, until light brown. Start the oven first so it preheats as the buns bake.
- Brush the hot buns with melted butter, salted or unsalted.
