- Garlic · sliced thinly3 cloves
- Salt1 ½ tsp
- Soup pasta8 oz
- Half & half½ cups

- Heat the tomatoes and olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat, covered, until soft and partly blistered, about 5 minutes.
- Gently smash the tomatoes with the back of a spoon so they are partly burst and release juices.
- Make a space in the centre, add the shrimp, season with 1/2 teaspoon salt and cook 2 minutes per side.
- Add the garlic, 2 tablespoons butter and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Stir, let it turn saucy and bubbly, then take off the heat and cover.
- Mix the orzo with butter, half and half, Parmesan and lemon (optional), stirring well and rewarming over heat if needed.
- Serve immediately, with the orzo alongside a scoop of shrimp and tomatoes.
