Gluten Free One-Cup Pancakes | Jamie Oliver
Ingredients
- Egg1
- Flour1 cup
- Milk1 cup
- Olive oil
Instructions
- Crack the egg into a large mixing bowl, then add the gluten-free self-raising flour (250g), the milk (300ml) and a tiny pinch of sea salt.
- Whisk until you have a smooth batter.
- Drizzle half a tablespoon of olive oil into a large non-stick frying pan over medium heat, tilting the pan to spread it evenly.
- Add a few ladles of batter, leaving space between them. Each ladleful makes one pancake, so work in batches.
- Cook for 1 to 2 minutes, until small bubbles appear on the surface and the bases are golden, then flip.
- When both sides are golden, transfer to a plate. Repeat with the remaining batter, adding a little more oil between batches if needed.
- Serve hot.
