Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Bring the grapes to room temperature. Sprinkle them with salt and spray with vinegar, then leave for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Meanwhile, remove the stems and discard any rotten grapes.
  3. Add just enough water to cover the grapes, rub them gently, then discard the water.
  4. Rinse the grapes several times with plenty of water.
  5. If you want chilled juice, chill or freeze the grapes for 1-2 hours, depending on how cold you want them.
  6. To make juice in a blender, add the grapes with the other ingredients, then add water to the dilution you like.
  7. Place a strainer over a bowl, pour in the juice and press it through with a spoon. Pour into glasses and add ice if you like.
  8. To use a slow juicer, follow the manufacturer's manual, feed the grapes through the chute and collect the juice in a jug.
  9. Serve the juice straight away, before it oxidises.
