Green Tea Chocolate
Ingredients
- Heavy cream⅓ cups
- Chocolate chip11 oz
- Vanilla1 tsp
- Butter2 tbsp
- Tea · powder1 ½
Instructions
- Heat the heavy cream in a small saucepan over medium heat until just before it simmers, then remove from the heat.
- Put the white chocolate in a large bowl and pour the hot cream over it. Stir with a spatula until melted. If it stops melting and cools, microwave in 10-second bursts, stirring between each.
- Once combined, stir in the vanilla and butter until smooth and creamy.
- Sift the green tea powder over the chocolate mixture and stir gently until no lumps remain.
- Pour into an 8x8 inch baking pan lined with parchment and spread evenly. Refrigerate for 2 to 3 hours until firm.
- Lift out of the pan, separate from the parchment, and cut into 1 inch squares or your preferred size.
- Dust the pieces with the remaining 1 teaspoon of green tea powder.
- Store in an airtight container in the fridge; they taste best at room temperature.
