Ingredients

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine water, soy sauce, honey, sriracha and minced garlic. Bring to a boil over medium heat, stirring now and then.
  2. In a small dish, stir 2 tablespoons of cornstarch into 2 tablespoons of cold water until dissolved. Pour into the saucepan and stir until the sauce thickens. Lower the heat to low.
  3. Put the chicken pieces in a large zip-top bag, sprinkle with 1/2 cup of cornstarch, seal and shake until evenly coated.
  4. Lightly oil a large non-stick pan over medium heat. Add the chicken in a single layer and cook a few minutes per side until cooked through. Cook in batches so the pan is not crowded.
  5. Turn off the heat, pour the sauce over the chicken and stir to coat. Season with salt and pepper to taste if needed.
  6. Serve over white rice if desired, garnished with sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
