- Flour37 g
- Almond flour30 g
- Brown sugar¼ cups
- Cinnamon · ground½ tsp
- Baking powder1 tsp
- Salt½ tsp
- Honey40 ml
Instructions
- Put the rolled oats in a food processor and process until they form a fine powder. Transfer to a large bowl.

- Turn the dough onto a clean work surface and divide it into 8 portions.
- Roll each portion into a 1cm thick rope, then cut into 1cm wide pieces. Roll each piece into a ball, then poke a hole through the centre with a skewer to make a ring and flatten slightly. Place in a single layer on a large oven tray lined with baking paper. Repeat with the remaining portions.
- Preheat the oven to 150°C fan forced (300°F). Bake for 20 minutes.
- Mix the honey with 2 teaspoons of hot water in a small bowl. Remove the tray from the oven, drizzle the honey mixture over the rings and toss well until all are coated. Return to the oven for a further 8 minutes.
- Move the rings from the hot tray to a clean sheet of baking paper and let them cool completely.
