How I Make the Easiest Chicken Dinner Ever
Ingredients
- Chicken breast2 lb
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Flour½ cups
- Vegetable oil2 tbsp
- Chili flake · crushed flakes½ tsp
- Butter6 tbsp
- Garlic8 cloves
- White wine½ cups
- Scallion3
- Parsley · minced¼ cups
Instructions
- Season the chicken well with salt and pepper, dredge in flour and shake off the excess. Put the floured pieces on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Heat a heavy pan over medium-high heat. Add the oil and, once shimmering, cook the chicken until golden on all sides, about 5 minutes in total. Cook in batches so the pan isn't crowded. Move the chicken to a plate and cover loosely with foil.
- Turn the heat to low, add the butter and garlic, and cook until the garlic turns golden. Add the red pepper flakes, if using, and cook for 30 seconds more.
- Add the wine, turn the heat to medium-high and reduce the sauce by half.
- Turn the heat to medium, return the chicken and its juices to the pan, and toss for about 2 minutes until hot. Taste and adjust the salt and pepper. Stir in the green onion and parsley and serve straight away.
