How To Boil Pasta Al Dente #shorts #pasta #youtubeshorts #
Ingredients
- Pasta350 g
- Salt15 g
- Butter20 g
Instructions
- Fill a large pot with enough water for the pasta to cook evenly, bring to a boil and stir in the salt.
- Add the pasta once boiling and stir immediately with tongs so it does not clump or stick.
- Start testing for doneness 3 minutes before the package time; it should be tender but firm with a slight resistance at the centre.
- Drain immediately in a colander without rinsing, then toss in a drizzle of olive oil.
- Use tongs to lift a portion into a ladle, press gently into a dome, and release onto the plate.
- Season with black pepper and Parmigiano-Reggiano shavings if desired.
- To store, toss warm oiled pasta into a freezer bag, massage to spread the oil, press out excess air, seal, cool to room temperature, then refrigerate.
