How to Make a Smoked Sausage Wrap | Hilah Cooking
Ingredients
- Smoked sausage2–4
- Onion · sliced1 cup
- Jalapeño chili · sliced1
- Beer¼ cups
- Tortilla1–4
- Mustard
Instructions
- Slice each sausage lengthwise about halfway through, like butterflying it.
- If the sausage is lean (under 10 g fat per link), add a teaspoon of oil to a large skillet over medium-low heat and brown the sausages slowly on all sides. If the sausage is very fatty, brown them without added oil.
- Once browned, add the onions and pepper, raise the heat, and brown the onions a little.
- Add the beer and cook uncovered over medium-high heat until it evaporates. The onions should be cooked by then.
- Open the sausages and cook them cut side down in the skillet for a few minutes until browned.
- Warm the tortillas, place a sausage and some onions and peppers in each, add condiments, then roll up and eat.
