Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut the iceberg into 4 wedges, keeping the core intact. Rinse gently under running water, shake off the excess, and place each wedge cut side down on a salad plate. Refrigerate to crisp and drain further.
  2. Make the dressing and refrigerate it.
  3. Cook the bacon in the oven or on the stove, then drain, cool and crumble it.
  4. When ready to serve, dry the plates and stand the wedges upright. Spoon dressing over them, sprinkle with bacon and add the cherry tomatoes. Slice the avocado and arrange a few slices on each plate. Season with black pepper if you like, and serve immediately.
