How to make Cake Pops without Cake Pop Maker - Video Recipe | Fix Cake Disasters
Ingredients
- Cake crumbs2 cups
- Chocolate spread2 tbsp
- Chocolate½ cups
- Coconut2 tbsp
Instructions
- In a plate, crumble the cake finely to get 2 cups of crumbs.
- Whisk the ready-to-use frosting until slightly loose and smooth.
- Add the frosting to the crumbs and mix gently with your hands, adding a tablespoon at a time as needed. Mould into smooth round balls, adding frosting sparingly so the mix is not too wet.
- Melt the melting chocolate in a microwave or double boiler and stir until smooth. Dip one end of each stick into the chocolate and insert it halfway into a cake ball.
- Arrange the pierced balls on a baking tray lined with wax paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, dip each ball carefully into the melted chocolate, then immediately into the sprinkles or coconut before the chocolate sets.
- Serve coated with melted chocolate and your chosen sprinkles.
