How to make Crunchy Chicken Rolls
Ingredients
- Onion1
- Garlic5 cloves
- Chicken2 cups
- Salt1 ½ tsp
- White pepper1 tsp
- Paprika1–2 tsp
- Chicken stock · powder1 tsp
- Soy sauce2 tbsp
- Carrot · diced1 cup
- Potato · diced1 ½ cups
- Bell pepper · cooked½ cups
- Flour3 cups
- Butter · melted3 tbsp
- Oil2 tbsp
Instructions
- In a pan over medium heat, saute the minced onion and garlic. Add the shredded cooked chicken, then the salt, white pepper, paprika, chicken powder and soy sauce. Stir fry until browned.
- Add the diced carrot and potato and the 1 cup of water. Stir fry until the water has reduced.
- Add the cooked peas (or bell peppers, if using) and stir fry until everything is fully cooked. Set the filling aside.
- For the dough, mix the flour, salt, melted butter and oil with your clean hand until it looks like wet sand. Add the water and mix until combined, then form a ball.
- Cover the dough and rest it for 30 to 40 minutes.
- Shape the dough into a log and divide it into 21 equal pieces, about 30 grams each. Roll each into a smooth ball and cover for 10 minutes.
- Flatten each dough ball and roll it out as thin as possible. Place filling on it and roll tightly.
- Deep fry the rolls until golden. Let them cool slightly before serving.
