Instructions

  1. Whip the cream with the sugar and vanilla on medium speed until it starts to thicken. Increase to high and whip until stiff. Scrape into another bowl and set aside.
  2. In the same bowl, without washing it, beat the cream cheese on medium speed until lightened. Add 1 cup of milk and beat until smooth. Add the remaining milk and the pudding mix, then beat for about 2 minutes until thickened. Slight lumps are fine.
  3. Fold the whipped cream into the pudding mixture.
  4. Refrigerate.
  5. Put most of the Oreos in a large zip-top bag and crush them with a rolling pin into coarse crumbs.
  6. In a 2-quart dish or 8 individual cups, layer pudding, crushed Oreos, pudding, then crushed Oreos. Hide some gummy worms in the pudding layers and tuck some around the edges. Decorate cookie gravestones with black decorating gel.
  7. Serve right away, or refrigerate for up to 24 hours. If making ahead, add the decorated cookie gravestones just before serving.
