How To Make Frozen Yogurt | Hilah Cooking
Ingredients
- Greek yoghurt2 cups
- Heavy cream½ cups
- Maple syrup9 tbsp
- Vanilla1 tsp
- Rum1 tbsp
- Pecan · chopped1 cup
- Cinnamon½ tsp
Instructions
- Whisk the ice cream ingredients together and chill the yogurt mixture for at least 1 hour (up to 2 days).
- Put the pecans in a dry skillet over medium heat and toast them, stirring, for about 5 minutes.
- Add the syrup and cook, stirring, for another 3 minutes until the syrup begins to dry.
- Sprinkle with the cinnamon and remove from the heat.
- Churn the chilled yogurt mixture in an ice cream maker according to the manufacturer's instructions; it may freeze faster than ice cream, so check it sooner.
- Serve topped with the maple pecans right away for a soft-serve texture, or pack into an airtight container and freeze for about 1 hour for a firmer, scoopable texture.
