How to Make Jalapeño Poppers for Halloween | Hilah Cooking
Ingredients
- Jalapeño chili6
- Bacon12
- Cream cheese3 oz
- Pecan12
- Sriracha sauce
Instructions
- Halve the jalapeños lengthwise and remove the seeds, membranes and stems. Spread about a teaspoon of cream cheese into each half.
- Using a very sharp knife, cut fringes into each bacon strip about one-third of the way in from each end, making 3 fringes on each end.
- Place a jalapeño half cream-cheese-side-up on a fringed bacon strip. Wrap the ends up and around, interlacing the fringes over the cream cheese.
- Transfer the jalapeños to a baking sheet, cream-cheese-side-down, and spread the bacon legs out.
- Bake for about 15 minutes, until the bacon legs are crispy.
- Press a pecan half into the stem end of each jalapeño. Use Sriracha to make tiny eyeballs, then stab them with a toothpick.
