Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Put all the rice into the rice cooker. Add enough cold water to cover, rub the grains with your hand, then pour off the cloudy water. Repeat rinsing and draining 4 to 5 times until the water runs clear, then drain as much water as possible.
  2. Level the rice. Place your hand flat on top and add water until it reaches the crease of your knuckle.
  3. Cook on the multigrain setting. Soaking for 2 to 8 hours is recommended, especially if you are not using a Cuckoo electric pressure cooker.
  4. For spicy enoki mushrooms: trim and separate the mushrooms. Mix soy sauce, gochugaru, sesame oil, garlic, sugar and water. Heat the sauce in a pan, add the mushrooms and cook 2 to 3 minutes until tender. Garnish with green onion and sesame seeds.
