How to Make Oreo Balls
Ingredients
- Oreo36
- Cream cheese · softened8 oz
- White chocolate · coarsely chopped12 oz
- Coconut oil½ tsp
- Chocolate · melted
Instructions
- Pulse the whole Oreo cookies, filling included, in a food processor until they form a fine crumb.
- Beat the crumbs with the softened cream cheese until combined.
- Scoop out spoonfuls (about 18–22 g each) and roll into balls. If the mixture is too sticky, chill it for 15 minutes first.
- Chill the balls for at least 1 hour, up to 3 days. In a hurry, freeze them for 30 minutes, but do not freeze longer unless you move them to the fridge.
- Melt the chopped chocolate with the oil in 20-second bursts in the microwave, stirring after each, until smooth. Let it cool for 5 minutes before dipping.
- Dip each ball in the chocolate, lift with a fork, tap off the excess, and slide onto a lined tray with a toothpick.
- If you like, top with sprinkles or Oreo crumbs while the chocolate is wet, or drizzle with extra chocolate.
- Chill at least 1 hour until set. Store in an airtight container in the fridge, layered with parchment, for up to 2 weeks.
