How to Make Slow Cooker Pulled Pork | Hilah Cooking
Ingredients
- Pork shoulder3–4 lb
- Mustard2 tbsp
- Brown sugar2 tbsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Coriander seed · ground1 tsp
- Black pepper½ tsp
- Smoked paprika½ tsp
- Chicken stock¼ cups
- Apple cider vinegar¼ cups
Instructions
- Mix the mustard, sugar and spices in a small bowl.
- Remove any twine from the roast and rub it all over with the mustard mixture. You can do this the night before and refrigerate the roast until cooking. If you don't have time, that's fine.
- Place the pork in the slow cooker with the stock and vinegar.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 to 10 hours, or on high for 5 hours.
- When tender, remove the bone if there is one, then shred the meat with two forks. Stir it through the sauce to keep it moist.
