How to Make Taco Salad | Hilah Cooking
Ingredients
- Tortilla
- Oil
- Refried bean
- Lettuce
- Tomato
- Cheese
- Jalapeño chili
- Avocado
- Sour cream
- Pico de gallo
- Hot sauce
- Ranch dressing
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F.
- If the tortillas are stale, microwave them briefly to soften.
- For burrito-size tortillas, set one small oven-proof bowl per shell upside down on a large baking sheet, spray lightly with oil, press each tortilla over a bowl and fold to hold its shape, then spray the outside lightly with oil.
- For taco-size tortillas, turn a muffin tin upside down, spray both sides of each tortilla lightly with oil and tuck them between the muffin cups.
- Bake for 8 minutes.
- For large tortillas, lift them off the bowls carefully (away from you to avoid steam) and bake 2 to 4 more minutes until fully cooked. Small tortillas are done after 8 minutes.
- Spread beans in the bottom of each shell, add your chosen meat or vegetables, then the salad ingredients.
- Serve warm.
