How To Roast Brussels Sprouts | Hilah Cooking
Ingredients
- Brussels sprout1 lb
- Oil · divided1 tbsp
- Wasabi paste · powder2 tsp
- Salt½ tsp
- Honey1 tsp
Instructions
- Rinse and dry the sprouts. Trim a thin slice from the stem ends and halve any large ones so they are about the same size.
- Put the sprouts in a large bowl, drizzle with about half the oil and toss.
- Sprinkle with the wasabi powder and salt and toss to coat.
- Heat a large heavy skillet over high heat and add the remaining oil.
- Add the sprouts in a single layer and cover the pan. Cook 3 to 5 minutes, depending on how roasty you want them.
- Stir, turn the sprouts over, re-cover, and reduce the heat to medium. Cook another 5 to 10 minutes until a fork pierces them easily but they are still bright green.
- Drizzle with the honey, toss, and serve.
