Ingredients

Instructions

  1. Cut the green onion diagonally into thin slices.
  2. Add 500 ml water to a pot with a lid and bring it to a boil over medium-high heat.
  3. Once boiling, add the ramen seasoning packet(s).
  4. Drain the tuna and add it to the pot, stir, and bring back to a boil uncovered.
  5. Once boiling, add the noodles and set a 5-minute timer. Submerge and loosen the noodles with chopsticks, flipping them once. When the broth is boiling strongly, reduce to medium heat.
  6. After 2 minutes, add 2 tablespoons kimchi and stir.
  7. Crack the egg onto the noodles and let it cook undisturbed in the simmering broth for about 2–3 minutes. Just before the timer ends, drizzle in ½ tablespoon toasted sesame oil.
  8. Scatter the sliced green onion over the top. When the timer beeps, move the noodles and broth to a large bowl.
  9. Sprinkle with ½ teaspoon toasted white sesame seeds and top with extra green onion and kimchi.
