Modo de preparo
- In a large skillet over medium heat, heat 1 tablespoon oil. Add the ground beef and break it into crumbles. Cook until browned, about 5-8 minutes. Remove the beef and set aside.
- Add the remaining 1 tablespoon oil to the skillet with the onion, garlic and serrano peppers. Cook until the onion is fully translucent, about 5-8 minutes.
- Stir in the chili powder, cayenne pepper, cumin and salt until well combined.
- Return the beef to the skillet. Pour in the beer and cook until the alcohol has evaporated and the liquid is reduced by half, about 3-5 minutes.
- Add the beans, Rotel and tomato sauce. Bring to a low simmer, then cover and cook about 1 hour, until the sauce has reduced, thickened and the flavors have intensified.
- To assemble, cut along the long side of each Flamin' Hot Fritos bag to open it. Spoon chili over the chips in each bag. Top as desired with shredded cheddar, spicy queso, sour cream, sliced pickled serrano peppers, pico de gallo and cilantro, then serve immediately.
