No-Bake Chocolate Berry Dessert
Ingredients
- Chopped kataifi pastry150 g
- Butter2–3 tbsp
- Cream350 g
- Chocolate · chopped, melted500 g
- White chocolate · chopped90 g
- Kataifi filling for garnish2 tbsp
- Strawberry · sliced1 lb
- Extra toasted kataifi or chopped nuts for texture
Instructions
- Make the filling: melt the butter in a pan over medium heat. Add the chopped kataifi and toast, stirring often, for about 4–5 minutes, until lightly golden and crisp.
- Let it cool slightly, then stir in the hazelnut or pistachio cream until smooth and fully combined. Set aside to cool.
- Make the bark: line a baking sheet with parchment. Melt the milk chocolate gently over simmering water or in the microwave in 20-second bursts.
- Pour the milk chocolate onto the parchment and spread it thin with an offset spatula.
- Melt the white chocolate and drizzle it over the milk chocolate. Optionally, dot with leftover filling and swirl gently with a toothpick.
- Let the bark set at room temperature, or refrigerate until firm, then break into shards.
- Assemble: in small cups or bowls, layer the kataifi filling, then fresh berries, then drizzle with melted milk chocolate. Repeat layers if desired.
- Top each cup with a chocolate shard and an extra sprinkle of berries or nuts.
