Oven Baked Crispy Garlic Parm Wings
Ingredients
- Chicken wing4 lb
- Vegetable oil¼ cups
- Butter1 stick
- Extra virgin olive oil2 tbsp
- Garlic8 cloves
- Parsley2 tbsp
- Parmesan cheese · grated½ cups
- Chili flake · crushed flakes¼ tsp
- Salt1 tsp
- Black pepper½ tsp
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F and set the rack in the middle. Chop the parsley, mince the garlic and grate the parmesan (1/2 cup).
- Dry the wings very well with paper towels. Toss them with 1/4 cup vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon kosher salt and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper. Place on a wire rack and bake for 50 minutes, turning once after 30 minutes.
- While the wings bake, heat the butter and olive oil over medium-low heat and sauté the garlic for 2-3 minutes. During the last 30 seconds add the red pepper flakes, stir, then turn off the heat and set aside.
- After 50 minutes, take the wings out and toss with 3/4 of the garlic butter and 1/4 cup of parmesan. Return to the rack and broil for 5-10 minutes until crispy and golden brown, watching closely to avoid burning.
- Plate the wings. Drizzle with the remaining garlic butter, sprinkle with the remaining cheese and the parsley.
