Party Brownies
Ingredients
- Brownie mix1 box
- Butter6 tbsp
- Milk⅓ cups
- Sugar1 ¼ cups
- Vanilla1 tsp
- Salt½ tsp
- Chocolate chip1 cup
- Cake sprinkles
Instructions
- Bake the brownie mix as the package says in a 9x13 pan, or a slightly smaller rectangular pan. Let it cool for about an hour before frosting.
- Melt the butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Add the milk, sugar, vanilla and salt. Bring to a steady boil over medium heat and let it boil at a rolling boil for a full 45 seconds, timing it.
- Turn off the heat, add the chocolate chips and stir until combined. If there are stubborn lumps, whisk for about a minute.
- Working quickly, pour the frosting over the brownies, spread it evenly and scatter the sprinkles over it. It sets almost immediately.
- Let the frosting rest for 15 to 30 minutes, depending on how clean you want the slices to be. Then cut and serve.
